To join PP10Prospective partners must:
- Formally
adopt the general commitments.
- Develop
specific commitments and actions by your
organization or agency that:
- Support
the common principles;
- Address
implementation gaps and/or track progress in the development of
national public participation system; and
- Support
engagement in and development of the partnership.
The Partnership for Principle 10 relies on the diversity of its partners
for effective implementation of Principle 10.
Who should join PP10?
- Civil
society groups
interested in applying The Access Initiative's tools for assessing government
performance on the access principles
- Governments
(including national and local entities) interested in collaborating
with civil society groups to improve access to information, participation,
and justice
- Donors
interested in providing development assistance for the partnership itself
and for independent assessment and capacity-building at the national
level, as well as improving their own practice
- International
organizations interested in promoting implementation in their own
operations, through their engagements with member governments, and/or
providing financial support
- Professional
associations focused on access to information, public participation,
or access to justice
